Agatha All Along is an upcoming television series set to premiere on Disney+ on September 18, 2024. This highly anticipated miniseries is a spin-off of the acclaimed WandaVision, which debuted in 2021, and marks the 11th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The executive team includes Kevin Feige, Mary Livanos, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and Jac Schaeffer.
The plot of Agatha All Along revolves around the witch Agatha Harkness, portrayed by Kathryn Hahn. Following her loss of magical powers at the end of WandaVision, Agatha embarks on a quest to establish a new coven of witches, aided by a goth teenager. With the help of her coven, Agatha intends to navigate the perilous Witches’ Road to reclaim her lost powers.

1) Hailing from the Isle of Man
Joe Locke, whose full name is Joseph William Locke, was born on September 24, 2003. He grew up in Douglas, the capital city of the Isle of Man, an island territory located between Great Britain and Ireland.
2) He made his acting debut in Heartstopper
Before assuming the role of the enigmatic ‘Teen’ in Agatha All Along, Joe Locke charmed audiences with his performance as Charlie Spring, a gay high school student, in the Netflix series Heartstopper, which premiered in 2022. This coming-of-age series is adapted from Alice Oseman’s graphic novel of the same name, published in 2016.
Locke stars alongside Kit Connor, William Gao, and Yasmin Finney in this acclaimed series, which has received praise for its positive representation of LGBTQ+ relationships.
3) He came out as gay at age 12
Joe publicly came out as gay at the age of 12 via Instagram. Although he later deleted the post, he re-emerged three years later and confirmed his sexuality again at 15. In 2023, the now 19-year-old actor addressed any confusion regarding his sexual orientation in an interview with Teen Vogue:
“I have been openly gay since I was, like, 12.”

On January 31, 2024, Joe made his much-anticipated Broadway debut in a revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. He took on the role of Tobias Ragg, assisting Mrs. Lovett in her pie shop. This role has previously been portrayed by Gaten Matarazzo, Felix Torrez-Ponce, Nathan Salstone, and Daniel Marconi during its stint at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in Midtown Manhattan.
Additionally, Joe made his professional stage debut in 2022, playing Noah in the Donmar Warehouse production of The Trials by Dawn King.
