Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade: Tips to Acquire More Cubes

Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade: Tips to Acquire More Cubes

In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade, a specialized currency known as Cubes (or Kaiju) is crucial for participating in gacha draws and acquiring new characters. To engage with the game’s free-to-play banners, players need to gather up to 3,000 Cubes to make a ten-pull. However, it’s important to note that the opportunities to farm these Cubes are quite limited, leading many players to question whether farming is feasible at all. This guide addresses these concerns and provides insights on how to optimize your Cube earnings.

Is Cube Farming Possible in Phantom Parade?

Regrettably, the game does not permit traditional farming of Cubes. Instead, it leans towards incentivizing player engagement through microtransactions for Cube bundles. That being said, there are limited free-to-play strategies for acquiring additional Cubes, although these methods come with their own limitations.

Your best chances for gathering Cubes stem from two primary sources: Story Events and Campaign Missions. Engaging in Story Events—temporary activities that feature several missions across Normal and Hard modes—can yield thousands of Cubes. Additionally, Campaign missions give players 50 Cubes per episode, potentially amassing close to 5,000 Cubes since they typically correlate with other objectives that also reward Cubes.

Story Events

During these limited-time events, you can complete 8 to 10 episodes of side stories, each offering rewards of 30 to 50 Cubes. You’ll also earn thematic currencies like Exorcist Medals, which can be exchanged for extra Cubes at the event shop.

Campaign Missions

Each campaign episode you clear for the first time awards 50 Cubes. Furthermore, since episodes often overlap with side quests in the Missions section, you can earn a total of up to 150 Cubes for certain tasks.

Novice Missions

New players should focus on completing basic objectives through Novice Missions for additional Cubes. For instance, changing your Assistance character can reward you with 1,000 Cubes. Simply navigate to your Profile and edit the “Assistance Info”to switch out the default hero.

Completing all Novice Missions will also net you a Guaranteed SSR Gacha Ticket, granting you a chance to obtain a desired character, which can significantly reduce your Cube expenditure.

Hero Rank-Up

Leveling up your characters yields a modest amount of Cubes. While the rewards may seem minimal, this feature is integral to your overall progression and can contribute to your Cube collection over time.

Resource Exchange

Utilizing the “Exchange” menu under the “Rec. Bits” tab, players can trade their surplus Recollection Bits for Gacha Tickets. Although these tickets serve a different function than Cubes, they can be used similarly for gacha pulls, effectively allowing some resource exchange.

Consider this exchange option only if your team is fully upgraded and you no longer find use for the extra Recollection Bits.

Promo Codes

Occasionally, Phantom Parade offers promo codes that grant free Cubes. Even though the rewards are typically modest, they are an easy way to accrue extras without effort.

Optimal Usage of Cubes in Phantom Parade

It is advisable to save your Cubes rather than rapidly using them on initial banners. A strategic approach involves re-rolling at the game’s start to aim for at least two META SSR heroes, such as Gojo and Yuta. Afterward, refrain from any additional pulls until new characters become available. This strategy empowers you to make informed decisions about future pulls based on the roster.

In my own experience as a free-to-play player, I secured Yuta during my reroll and obtained Gojo through a Guaranteed SSR ticket. Together, these characters facilitated my progress through the story while allowing me to save every Cube I earn.

Smart Ways to Utilize Exclusive Gacha Points

If you choose to engage with gacha banners, ensure you utilize your Exclusive Gacha Points to unlock additional characters. Each time you spend Cubes, you earn Gacha Points passively, which can be exchanged for SSR units through the Exchange menu in the Gacha Points tab. Keep in mind that the available heroes change periodically, so you may want to save your points until a desired hero appears.
