Karaoke Room and Musical Talent
In a delightful moment during the livestream, Jungkook made himself comfortable in his personal karaoke room, which featured a striking black and purple aesthetic. He entertained fans with live renditions of songs, including “I’ll Be There”by bandmate Jin and ROSÉ’s “APT.”
A Smart Real Estate Investment
Originally purchased in December 2020, Jungkook’s home has proven to be an astute investment as its value has soared post-renovations, reaching over $7.5 million in less than four years. With a construction permit obtained in 2021, he opted to knock down the previous structure, resulting in a newly built residence spanning approximately 12,500 square feet.
According to Park Yong Hoon, head of An Real Estate Agency, the area is known for housing notable figures in the business world. “Looking at the houses along the road, you’ll see they are quite substantial,”he noted. He also highlighted that real estate prices in this elite neighborhood have surged, nearly doubling since 2022, where properties sold for around 70 million won (approximately $52,700) per 3.3 square meters.
Jungkook’s home is conveniently situated just a ten-minute stroll from the iconic Itaewon Station and Noksapyeong Station, placing him in one of South Korea’s most affluent neighborhoods often dubbed the “Korean Beverly Hills.”
