Ellie attempts to justify her behavior, stating it was unintentional. Yet, Aesha feels unsatisfied with this explanation. In her confessional, she reveals her concerns about Ellie’s manipulative tendencies.
“I feel like Ellie’s gaslighting me in a way. Like she’s standing there acting like she’s so unaware,”Aesha shares in her confessional.
Aesha further describes Ellie as “calculated”and admits she struggles to understand Ellie’s true feelings.
“She’s so calculated. I don’t feel like I ever truly know what Ellie is feeling,”Aesha adds in her confessional.
On her part, Ellie suggests that Aesha’s critiques may stem from a deeper issue, insisting, “I’m just trying to prove to my boss that I can do this job. How is she supposed to write a reference saying that I could be a good chief stew if she’s never seen any sort of leadership skills from me?”
Captain Sandy’s Proposal
In a heartwarming moment, Aesha gathers Deckhands Gael Cameron and Joe Bradley to share the exciting news about Captain Sandy’s planned proposal. Aesha informs them that she will oversee the event’s organization, assuring that Ellie will handle tasks aboard the yacht and that the proposal will occur at sunset.
