Leaked Deadlock Unreleased Heroes: Complete Overview of What We Know So Far

Recently, several unreleased Deadlock heroes were leaked, igniting significant excitement within the gaming community. Valve’s highly anticipated MOBA shooter continues to attract hundreds of thousands of players daily, all while still being invite-only on Steam. Currently, the game features 21 heroes, each equipped with unique abilities and intriguing backstories.

The leaked information, shared by user u/JD_22_ on the official Deadlock subreddit, indicates the potential addition of 12 new heroes in the near future. This article will explore five of these leaked heroes and what players can expect from them.

The Reddit post contains insights about 12 unreleased Deadlock heroes, many of whom players can already experience in Sandbox Mode via the Deadlock console.

1) Astro

Astro, a fast-paced character dressed in cowboy-themed attire, wields a revolver. He appears to be one of the most polished unreleased heroes and possesses the following abilities:

Powder Keg: Throws a rolling barrel that detonates upon contact or being shot.
Bounce Pad: Deploys a moderately powerful jump pad.
Hat Trick: Throws a hat that slows enemies and reveals their positions through walls for a limited time.
Spirit Lasso: Captures opponents with a sturdy rope that inflicts considerable Spirit Damage.

2) Cadence

Cadence is a musical hero boasting unique abilities that even alter the background music as he plays. While ability names have been leaked, specific in-game descriptions are yet to be confirmed:

Anthem: Provides a minor healing effect to the player.
Silence Contraptions: Appears to be a melee attack enhancement.
Lullaby: Stuns foes briefly, causing them to appear asleep.
Crescendo: Transforms enemies within a radius into statues while dealing massive Spirit Damage.

3) Gunslinger

The Gunslinger is a dual-revolver hero who seems unfinished at this time. Lacking movement animations and ability icons, he can inflict up to 500 damage in under four seconds, which appears unintentional. His abilities include Rapid Fire, Rocket Launcher, Tenacity, and Sleep Fire.

4) Times

Kali is an unusual hybrid resembling both a human and a lizard. Armed with a rifle that boasts incredible range balanced by a slow firing rate, Kali’s abilities remain undisclosed, but they are noted as Spinning Blage, Disruptive Charm, Dust Storm, and Trappers Bolo.

5) Slork

Slork has quickly gained popularity due to his humorous and adorable appearance. The names of his abilities include Riptide, Chomp, Last Breath, and Ability Invis. However, be aware that we encountered multiple crashes when attempting to load this character in the game.

Additionally, other heroes are found in the game files but cannot be fully loaded in Sandbox mode:
