Strategies to Overcome Kain (First Encounter)

Your initial battle with Kain unfolds after defeating Melchia and acquiring the ability to traverse gates within the Spectral Realm. This confrontation takes place at Kain’s throne in the Sanctuary of the Clans.

During the fight, Kain will utilize a teleporting attack, vanishing from his location and appearing elsewhere. This allows him to launch a projectile attack that can send players back to the Spectral Realm. Fortunately, players can defeat a wraith in this realm to regain health and return to the Material Plane.

It’s essential to note that Kain’s projectile can breach walls, offering no safe hiding spots. The key to emerging victorious lies in predicting Kain’s movements. Players should remember where Kain last stood and position themselves accordingly; he will reappear in one of two potential areas.

When Kain charges his attack, dash towards him to land a blow before he phases away again.
