Holiday Celebrations in GTA Online
- Players can enjoy free holiday gifts until December 31, including festive outfits, weapons, and more.
- New vehicles, such as police cars, are now available, alongside boosted earnings for Dispatch Work.
- Players can anticipate several gaming events and rewards, although hopes for a GTA 6 trailer appear delayed until 2025.
GTA Online is ringing in the holiday season by granting an array of free goodies to its players. This year’s lineup features consumable items and stylish cosmetics, making it an opportunity not to be overlooked by fans of the game.
Every year, GTA Online transforms into a winter wonderland, complete with a snowy landscape that tends to evoke mixed reactions among players. While the freshly fallen snow complicates driving and drifting maneuvers, it also blankets the entire map in shimmering white. Notably, players can indulge in some light-hearted fun by engaging in snowball fights, which adds to the seasonal cheer.
From December 19 to December 31, players logging into GTA Online will be rewarded with an assortment of festive gifts. Expect to receive a cozy penguin onesie, a shiny gold reindeer pendant, a stylish gold-star fitted jacket and pant combo, a firework launcher, a snowball launcher, and a complete refresh of snacks, armor, and ammo. Additionally, players can keep an eye out for the Happy Holidays Hauler driving through the game, offering GTA$, RP, snack, and ammo refills, along with a chance to acquire one of two holiday-themed sweaters inspired by eCola and Sprunk.
Exploring Additional Holiday Offers in GTA Online
The holiday season also introduces exciting new vehicles for purchase, including the Invetero Coquette D10 Pursuit police vehicle, the Willard Outreach Faction lowrider patrol car, and the Brute Taco Van. Players will benefit from increased earnings from participating in Dispatch Work and Pizza Deliveries, plus enjoy a threefold boost in passive income from the Agents of Sabotage Garment Factory. Additionally, returning seasonal events such as the Weazel Plaza Shootout, battling The Gooch, snowman destruction, and Yeti hunts rekindle festive gameplay.
To enhance the gaming experience further, players can earn 3x GTA$ and RP while participating in the Entourage (Festive Remix). Completing it just once unlocks the Snowman Finish for the Combat Pistol, whereas winning five matches grants access to the Skull Santa Finish for the Special Carbine. Furthermore, winning the Santa mode twice unlocks the Santa’s Helper Finish for the Heavy Sniper. Players who excel in at least two Adversary Modes can look forward to a bonus of 100,000 GTA$.
While many players are immersing themselves in the holiday spirit that GTA Online offers this season, others express disappointment over the lack of information regarding GTA 6. Enthusiasts had hoped for a new trailer release by year-end, possibly during The Game Awards or a standalone reveal. As 2025 approaches, the likelihood of receiving updates about the eagerly awaited sequel diminishes, intensifying concerns that its launch might be pushed further away.
