On September 16, 2024, the owner of Los Angeles-based Korean restaurant Woo Hyang Woo shared a fan art piece featuring BTS members Jungkook and Taehyung on his Instagram account, @whw_hk_1.31. The post was complemented by the song “Slow Dancing”by Taehyung as its background music. The artwork depicted Jungkook and Taehyung, also known as V, enjoying ice cream together, with V’s left arm draped over Jungkook’s shoulder.

The comment section of the restaurant owner’s post quickly filled with fans speculating about a potential secret romantic relationship between the two BTS idols. In response, the restaurant owner commented to discourage fans from making such bold assertions about the artists.

“Silently, there are some weird posts, so I’ll be precise. I love all of BTS and they’re saying ridiculous things about guys dating, so please stop saying weird things on my social media. We love everyone and they are really kind and precious people,”he stated.

The owner of Woo Hyang Woo further expressed that they love and respect all members of BTS, particularly noting that the artists are going through a challenging time due to their military service. He asked fans to avoid making “weird”comments about them.

“They are having a hard time in the military right now and we pray for their health and always cheer them on from afar; only those who wish them well should leave comments. If you’re going to say weird things, do it somewhere else.”
