All You Need to Know About Pokémon GO Mankey Community Day

Mark your calendars for November 2024 as the highly anticipated Pokémon GO Mankey Community Day arrives, showcasing the Pig Monkey Pokémon. During this special event, trainers will experience a notable increase in Mankey spawns for three full hours. Additionally, Niantic has introduced several exciting event bonuses, especially related to the evolution of Annihilape.

Event Schedule and Bonuses

The Mankey Community Day is scheduled for November 10, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. During this time, a variety of exciting bonuses will be available:

  • Special Evolution Condition: Evolve Primeape into Annihilape after catching 20 Fighting-type Pokémon with Primeape as your buddy (normal requirements resume at 10 PM local time).
  • Enjoy 3× XP for catching Pokémon.
  • Receive 2× Candy for each Pokémon caught.
  • Increased chances to get Candy XL for Trainers level 31 and above (2× increased chance).
  • Lure Modules will remain active for three hours during the event.
  • Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) will also last for three hours.
  • Snap a few photos during the event for a delightful surprise!
  • One additional Special Trade is permitted, allowing for a total of two trades from 2 PM to 10 PM.
  • Trading during the event will require 50% less Stardust (from 2 PM to 10 PM).

Featured Attack and Bonus Raid Information

Trainers who evolve Mankey or Primeape during the event or within five hours afterward will receive a Primeape or Annihilape equipped with the Charged Attack Rage Fist. The attack parameters are as follows:

  • Trainer Battles: 50 power and an increase in Attack by one stage.
  • Gyms and Raids: 100 power.

Field Research, Special Research, and PokeStop Showcases

During the Mankey Community Day, trainers can engage in event-themed Field Research tasks, along with a paid Special Research opportunity tailored for this occasion.
