After unveiling its latest trailer yesterday, Konami has revealed new gameplay footage from Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. This gameplay was showcased during a playable demo at the Tokyo Game Show, allowing attendees to experience it firsthand. Check it out below, courtesy of the latest Metal Gear Hotline.
While this gameplay snippet does not feature any combat, it highlights the exceptional detail of the remake. It also introduces the new third-person camera, available in the Modern control scheme, along with several quality-of-life features such as Quick-Dial, which allows players to instantly contact other characters. Fans looking for a GA-KO cameo may be pleased to find it seemingly included with collectible figurines, though these might be exclusive to the demo.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is playable from start to finish, yet Konami has not yet announced a specific release date. The game is set to launch on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and it will support the PS5 Pro’s PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR).
