Digital Eclipse has launched Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind update version 1.0.4. This patch is designed to enhance the gaming experience by optimizing attack dynamics and character movement. Players can expect smoother gameplay due to refined mechanics and improved online functionality.
Released on December 10 for multiple platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is a nostalgic, retro-infused brawler that mirrors the original Power Rangers TV show. The game features fast-paced side-scrolling action, vehicle sequences, and immersive Megazord battles, all accentuated by classic sprite art and a captivating soundtrack.
With the introduction of update 1.0.4, players will notice significant enhancements to character movement. The Rangers can now move with greater speed, making walking, dashing, and combat maneuvers feel more seamless. Noteworthy improvements include quicker grabbing mechanics and increased attack speeds. Furthermore, the Dodge ability is now devoid of cooldown, allowing players to evade attacks with greater agility. The duration of invulnerability while dodging has been adjusted, providing a more balanced experience; however, Easy mode retains full invulnerability.

Moreover, the update brings noticeable changes to enemy interactions. Time Disruptors, for instance, have a wider collision detection for attacks, making them easier to target, especially in Easy mode. Players will find food pickups more widely distributed, and adjustments to Hard mode increase enemy damage output while maintaining health levels consistent with Normal difficulty. Players can now switch between NPC Rangers directly at the Juice Bar, benefiting from updated dialogues pertaining to arcade machines.
Advancements in Zord and Megazord gameplay mechanics have also been implemented. Damage from machine gun fire is reduced, and players will no longer suffer a life penalty for falling into pits. Boss battle difficulty scales based on the number of players involved, and health power-ups for Megazord battles mean a more balanced encounter. Online multiplayer allows players who have unlocked the Green Ranger to begin their adventure from any level, although they need the latest update for successful matchmaking.
This patch not only enhances character performance but also aims to bolster overall game stability and efficiency, enabling an enriched experience for fans of old-school brawlers. As Digital Eclipse continues to refine and perfect the game mechanics, players can dive into the newly enhanced environment offered by update 1.0.4.
