Following the Ender Cup, the Minecraft Championship (MCC) is set to make a spectacular return with the MCC Twitch Rivals in San Diego. This official tournament occurs several times a year, where 40 content creators team up in groups of four to compete in a variety of minigames developed by Noxcrew. This time, a special MCC event will be hosted locally as part of Twitch Rivals.

Event Date and Time

On August 20, the official X account of MCC announced that they would be organizing a new tournament at the upcoming TwitchCon in San Diego, California. The event is scheduled for September 21, just one week from now.

When they disclosed the first five teams participating in the MCC Twitch Rivals, it was confirmed that the event would kick off at 7 PM BST (8 PM CET, 12 AM IST, 11 AM PST).

Where to Watch the Event?

The tournament will be hosted live at TwitchCon San Diego, with most content creators streaming from their official Twitch channels. Fans can tune into Twitch as the MCC begins and watch their favorite Minecraft or gaming influencers participate in the tournament. Additionally, the official TwitchCon account will stream the entire event for viewers.

Additional Information Regarding the MCC Twitch Rivals

This specific MCC event marks the 51st hosted by the Noxcrew, being only the fourth occurrence in a local setting where teams will connect via a LAN. As previously mentioned, this will be the third MCC held as a Twitch Rivals, with the first one taking place in October 2023 and the second on June 30, 2024.

Moreover, this is also the third MCC to offer prize money as part of the Twitch Rivals events. The total prize pool amounts to $50,000, with the victorious team earning $5,360, while the remaining teams receive $4,960 each. These amounts will be divided among the team members.
