In the early September announcement on the official Minecraft website, Ryan Cooper noted that the structure for future content releases will undergo significant changes. Instead of a single annual Live event, Minecraft Live will now be condensed into two focused broadcasts each year. Furthermore, the Mob Vote will be retired, allowing for more consistent content releases rather than concentrating updates into major events.
