Capcom has recently unveiled a plethora of new information regarding Monster Hunter Wilds, including its release date, new monster introductions, and an overview trailer. Additionally, the highly anticipated game has revealed its PC requirements via Steam, which demand a substantial 140 GB of installation space.
The minimum system requirements list an Intel Core i5-10600, Core i3-12100F, or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, along with 16 GB of RAM, and either a GeForce GTX 1660 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. This setup will allow players to enjoy the game at 1080p/30 FPS on Low settings, although the resolution will be upscaled from 720p.
Meanwhile, the recommended specifications include a Core i5-12400, AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or 5500, 16 GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 2070 Super, RTX 4060, or Radeon RX 6700 XT. This hardware setup will deliver 1080p/60 FPS on Medium settings, but Frame Generation must be enabled.
These substantial requirements highlight the demand for powerful hardware, and this does not yet account for the requirements necessary for 4K settings. Monster Hunter Wilds is slated for release on February 28th, 2025, featuring availability on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Be sure to keep an eye out for more updates in the forthcoming months.
