NBA 2K25 Tips: Earning Gold Badges Efficiently

NBA 2K25 has arrived, launching a new grind for players eager to achieve that elusive 99 rating while maximizing their Badges. This year, Badges have undergone significant changes, with several being removed completely. Nonetheless, earning and upgrading Badges is essential for building a strong and well-rounded team in MyCareer mode.

Badges come in various tiers, but the primary goal is attaining Gold Badges. To achieve this, players must first meet specific stat requirements. Following that, fulfilling each badge’s particular criteria is crucial for leveling it up—this includes tasks like making mid-range shots to unlock Deadeye or achieving good pass accuracy for Ball Out. While you could simply play through games, there are indeed faster and more efficient methods to accomplish these goals.

How to Earn Gold Badges in NBA 2K25

Start by heading to The Dunes within The City, located in the beach area of the map. Watch the cutscene until the board becomes accessible, allowing you to challenge various opponents in streetball. By selecting the Weekly Challenge, you can face Dunkotron 5000 or Jukes the Clown to recruit them as teammates.

However, the standout competitor is Danny Dunkman. Unlike other players, he is relatively easy to overcome, whether you’re scoring against him or playing defense. This gives you the flexibility to execute any strategy you want with minimal resistance. After each match, you will earn Virtual Currency and MyPoints that contribute to your player rating and badge progression. Continue rematching Danny Dunkman until you’ve upgraded your Badges as much as possible.

NBA 2K25 is available on multiple platforms, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
