Pugneum is primarily obtained by defeating Sentinels throughout the game. Each time you take down a Sentinel, it drops a loot barrel that invariably includes Pugneum. The quantity of Pugneum you receive correlates with the Sentinel’s tier; more formidable Sentinels yield larger amounts of this resource. Sentinels can be found on nearly every planet, but adopting some strategic farming methods can enhance your efficiency.

To optimize your Pugneum farming, consider the following strategies:

Defeat All Five Waves of Sentinels: An effective way to farm Pugneum is by battling Sentinels on any planet, especially those with aggressive variants. Engaging in combat raises your wanted level (shown by a dot beneath your Multi-Tool bar). As you eliminate Sentinels, the wanted level escalates. Successfully clearing all waves at the highest level temporarily disables Sentinels across the planet and reveals the nearest Sentinel Pillar’s location.

On planets with aggressive Sentinels, collecting Gravitino Balls will trigger a three-star wanted level.

Complete Missions at the Nexus: The Nexus, located on the Anomaly, occasionally offers missions that involve destroying Sentinels and their structures. These missions not only reward you with Pugneum but also provide additional rewards, including Quicksilver.
