Upon landing on a chosen planet, engage your Analysis Visor to locate the Solar Vine plant, which is characterized by tall rock-like structures adorned with glowing vines. You will typically find clusters of these plants in one area. To harvest Solanium from them, you’ll need to equip the Haz-Mat Gauntlet. If you encounter Phosphorus deposits during your exploration, gather these as they can be beneficial for crafting additional Solanium when subsequent access to hot planets is limited.
Farming Solanium in No Man’s Sky
Once you’ve advanced in the game by completing the Farmer’s Agricultural Research mission, you can start farming Solar Vines at your base. To do this, construct a Hydroponic Tray or Bio-Dome and plant Solar Vines using 50 Solanium and 50 Phosphorus as seeds.
