Official Announcement: Godzilla Meets Marvel in Epic Crossover Comics Event

After a notable absence from the Marvel Universe, Godzilla is set to make a spectacular return in 2025, featuring a crossover event that promises to bridge several decades. This exciting series of one-shots will bring the legendary King of the Monsters together with some of Marvel’s most beloved characters.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Comics is gearing up for the release of Godzilla vs. Marvel, a thrilling six-issue crossover that will see the iconic kaiju face off against heroes like Spider-Man, Thor, and the Hulk. Each one-shot will explore different time periods, with the first installment showcasing Godzilla’s interaction with Marvel’s First Family, the Fantastic Four.

For the inaugural issue, writer Ryan North teams up with renowned artist John Romita, Jr. The story will introduce a formidable new dynamic, as Godzilla’s nemesis, King Ghidorah, takes on the role of Galactus’ herald, now infused with the formidable Power Cosmic. To combat this empowered foe, Godzilla teams up with none other than the Silver Surfer, who is widely recognized as Galactus’ most iconic herald.
