Red Hair Pirates Attack the Going Luffy Senpai Ship

In a previous cover story of the One Piece manga, Bartolomeo and his crew were seen causing chaos in a territory protected by the Red Hair Pirates. Moreover, Bartolomeo and his companion Gambia set fire to Akagami Shanks’ pirate flag. This reckless act has left Bartolomeo, a prominent member of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, in a precarious position.

Fans have eagerly awaited the Red Hair Pirates’ reaction to this serious offense. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long, as the Yonko crew swiftly addressed the situation. Although Barto expressed remorse for disrupting their territory and even ingested a vial of poison (which wasn’t truly poisonous) to show his loyalty to Luffy, it proved insufficient. Initially, Shanks appeared content knowing Luffy had passionate followers and allowed Bartolomeo’s crew to leave unharmed.

However, Yasopp could not overlook this egregious act. He took decisive action by using his sniper skills to destroy the Going Luffy Senpai ship alongside Bartolomeo’s crew. The Red Hair Pirates made it clear that disrespecting a Yonko crew bears serious consequences, teaching them a crucial lesson.

Delving deeper, we see that the Red Hair Pirates’ actions represent a direct attack on a significant ally of the straw hats—a crew within the Straw Hat Grand Fleet. The Akagami crew has retaliated decisively, reminding readers that the Straw Hats also belong to the ranks of the Yonko. A seemingly minor incident has now ignited a potential conflict between Shanks and Luffy.

It remains to be seen how Luffy will react to this affront, given that it was unfortunate for Barto to complicate the relationship between his idol and his idol’s mentor. Do you think this incident signals the onset of a war between these two Yonko crews? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
