Overwatch 2 and My Hero Academia Collaboration Launching on October 17th

Following successful collaborations with One-Punch Man and Cowboy Bebop, Blizzard Entertainment has officially revealed the next exciting anime crossover for Overwatch 2: My Hero Academia. This collaboration will kick off on October 17th and conclude on October 30th. Be sure to check out the reveal trailer linked below.

For this collaboration, players will see heroes such as Tracer dressed as Midoriya, Juno portraying Uraraka, and Reinhardt as All Might. On the villains’ side, Reaper takes on the role of Shigaraki, the notorious leader of the League of Villains, while Kiriko will embody Toga. These characters will be available for individual purchase through their respective bundles, and a Mega Bundle containing all of them will also be offered in the Shop.

Unfortunately, free rewards are quite limited during this event; players can unlock five sprays and a charm through regular gameplay. Additionally, it appears there won’t be any limited-time Brawl mode associated with this collaboration, so players are really limited to earning cosmetics only.

Stay tuned for additional details and patch notes as the collaboration approaches next month. Overwatch 2 can be enjoyed on platforms including Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
