Overwatch 2 has kicked off Season 14 with exciting offerings, including a special Twitch Drop featuring the Fire Engine Bastion Legendary skin. Until December 21, players can earn this unique cosmetic by watching a total of four hours of live Overwatch 2 gameplay on Twitch. Alongside the skin, players will also receive the Ganymede spray, enhancing their in-game collection.
This latest season of Overwatch 2 is not just about cosmetics; it heralds significant changes within the game itself. Players can expect a comprehensive balance overhaul affecting numerous characters, ensuring a more refined gameplay experience. Additionally, the introduction of Hazard, a rebellious Scottish dive tank, enriches the game’s diversity and strategic options.
Unlocking Overwatch 2 Season 14 Twitch Drops
To participate in this opportunity, follow these steps:
- Connect your Battle.net and Twitch accounts.
- Tune in to any Overwatch 2 streamer for a minimum of four hours by December 21 at 11:58 PM PST.
- Upon completion, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Fire Engine Bastion Legendary skin
- Ganymede Spray
The Fire Engine Bastion skin was previously available for purchase in the Overwatch 2 shop back in August 2023 for 1900 Overwatch Coins, equating to a $19 cost. Meanwhile, the Ganymede spray has been a staple since the original Overwatch title, with a much lower price tag of 25 Overwatch Credits.
In contrast to earlier Twitch Drop campaigns that required players to log in for up to 15 hours to claim their rewards, this time, just four hours is sufficient. Furthermore, players will receive both the skin and the spray as soon as they meet the four-hour viewership requirement, simplifying the process.
However, it’s important to note that players who have previously purchased the Fire Engine Bastion skin will not be able to benefit from this Twitch Drop as a compensation offer. While there have been instances of refunds provided for other skin purchases, it’s unclear if similar compensatory measures will apply for those already owning this specific skin. Therefore, many existing Bastion fans might find themselves missing out on this latest promotion.
