The Meowmere, the first weapon introduced through the collaboration between Palworld and Terraria, has taken the gaming community by storm. Announced during the highly anticipated Feybreak Update in November 2024, this weapon brings a unique crossover experience for players.
Fans of Terraria are likely already acquainted with the Meowmere, known for its whimsical cat-shaped hilt and distinctive attack style, which launches adorable cat-shaped projectiles toward foes. In Palworld, it retains its charm while also establishing itself as one of the most powerful melee weapons available for crafting.
How To Unlock Meowmere In Palworld
Unlocking the Meowmere requires players to achieve level 30 in Palworld. Once you’ve reached this milestone, navigate to the Technology tab. Scroll down to the level 30 tier, where you’ll find the Meowmere listed under Ancient Technology.
To unlock it, you’ll need to invest two Ancient Technology points. If you’re close but haven’t yet reached level 30, consider exploring different regions or capturing up to 10 distinct Pals to rapidly accumulate experience points. Moreover, combating Alpha Pals and Tower Bosses is a great method to earn Ancient Technology points. Alternatively, Ancient Technology Manuals can be found in dungeon chests to bolster your points.
How To Craft Meowmere In Palworld
To forge the Meowmere, gather the following resources:
- 22 Ingots
- 22 Paldium Fragments
- 22 Coal
- 3 Predator Cores
Ingots can be produced from refining Copper Ore. Once you hit level 24, you’ll gain access to the Ore Mining Site, offering an unlimited source of ores through Mining Pals. Meanwhile, Paldium Fragments can be mined from smaller Paldium Ore nodes scattered across the Palpagos Archipelago, or from larger nodes found in dungeons. Additionally, stones can be converted to Paldium Fragments using a Crusher in an active Stone Pit.
Coal can be harvested from Coal Ore, frequently located in diverse environments including the Dessicated Desert, Bamboo Groves, Moonless Shore, and Verdant Brook. If you have reached level 41, consider constructing a Coal Mine to enhance your coal farming efficiency.
Lastly, Predator Cores are obtained from defeating rare Predator Pals, which can be found throughout the Palpagos Archipelago. These mini-bosses can be quite formidable, so ensure you’re well-prepared for combat. Depending on the level of the defeated Predator Pal, you may receive up to four Predator Cores.
Here are some notable coordinates to find Predator Pals near Palworld’s spawning islands: 9, -221; -24, -348; -63, -298; -325, -33; and 362, -177. Since Predator Pals have a low spawn rate, if you don’t find one immediately, try moving away and returning after a minute to check for respawn.
After collecting all necessary materials, head to either a High-Quality Workbench or a superior crafting facility to create the Meowmere. This excellent crossover weapon boasts an impressive attack power of 200 and a remarkable durability of 2222, making it a durable addition to your arsenal.
