Palworld PS5 Release Date Delayed in Japan

Palworld PS5 Release Date Delayed in Japan

During Sony’s latest State of Play event, Pocketpair announced the surprise launch of their open-world survival game, Palworld, for the PS5. However, it has come to light that this title may not be released for players in all regions.

Following the game’s unveiling for PlayStation, the official Japanese Twitter account for Palworld disclosed that the release date for the Japanese market is currently on hold.

According to Pocketpair, “The release date in Japan has not yet been determined.” They expressed their apologies to fans in Japan who were eagerly awaiting the game, adding that “all of our staff will do our best to deliver it to PS5 users as soon as possible, so we appreciate your patience.”

As of now, Pocketpair has not specified a release date for the PS5 version in Japan, nor has it provided details regarding the reason for this hold-up.

It’s important to note that Pocketpair recently faced legal action from Nintendo and The Pokemon Company over patent infringement claims, with Japan being the location where the lawsuit was filed. However, it remains unclear if this legal situation is influencing Palworld‘s PS5 release delay.
