Path of Exile 2 has officially launched into early access, providing players with an expansive campaign over three acts alongside a comprehensive endgame system. With its renowned and intricate character customization tree, players can unleash their creativity by constructing unique builds to navigate the challenges of Wraeclast.
Throughout the campaign, players engage in various objectives that yield lasting upgrades to their characters. These upgrades encompass additional skill points, enhanced resistances, increased life, and more. While some bonuses stem from quest completions, numerous others are rewards for defeating optional bosses or completing hidden interactions that might not be logged in a player’s quest journal.
All Permanent Bonuses from the Campaign
The permanent bonuses players gain throughout the campaign significantly contribute to their character’s overall power. These enhancements include offensive bonuses like extra Weapon Set Passive Skill Points, spirit regeneration, and mana boosts, as well as defensive improvements such as maximum life, resistances, and increased charm charge generation. Additionally, completing certain objectives unlocks crucial crafting options, including the salvage bench and reforging bench. The complete list of permanent bonuses from the campaign encompasses:

To complete the Blood Sacrifice activity, players must first acquire a Sacrificial Heart, which can be earned from foes in Aggorat or Utzaal. After obtaining it, players must take it to the altar in Aggorat and use the nearby sacrificial knife to finalize the ritual.
Permanent Bonuses in Cruel Difficulty
Currently, with only three acts implemented, players transition into Cruel difficulty after finishing Act 3. This mode offers a more formidable version of the campaign, allowing players to retain all their gear and stats. Moreover, the same permanent bonuses apply during the Cruel difficulty gameplay, with slight modifications listed below:
- Candlemass, The Living Rite now gives an 8% maximum life bonus instead of +20 maximum life
- The King in the Mists no longer provides the +30 spirit bonus
- Ignagduk, The Bog Witch now rewards +40 spirit instead of the earlier +30
- The Slithering Dead grants a choice of +10% chaos resistance, or +5 to all attributes, or 15% reduction in debuff slowing potency
As Cruel difficulty stands in place of the upcoming fourth, fifth, and sixth acts, the permanent upgrades available towards the latter part of the campaign may be subject to change upon their release.
