To discover the necessary Distilled Emotions for a specific passive skill, hover over the skill in your passive skill tree and press ALT. Once you have all required Distilled Emotions and your Amulet ready, right-click a Distilled Emotion to launch the instilling interface. Arrange the emotions in the specified order and place the Amulet in the designated slot. While any Amulet can receive a passive skill, it is advisable to wait until you acquire an Amulet suitable for your end-game strategy. Distilled Emotions can be quite valuable and are not easily come by.
Instilling Waystones with Delirium Using Distilled Emotions
Instilling Waystones follows the same procedure as instilling Amulets; however, the focus here is on adding Delirium modifiers to enhance the challenge of your map nodes, ultimately leading to increased rewards.
It is important to note that Waystones imbued with Delirium will not yield additional Distilled Emotions since the Delirium fog persists in these environments. These maps are primarily intended for farming Simulacrum Splinter and other rare monsters.

Methods to Acquire Distilled Emotions in Path of Exile 2
There are primarily two effective ways to obtain Distilled Emotions in Path of Exile 2:
- Successful Completion of Delirium Map Nodes: Look for map nodes adorned with a white plus icon (illustrated above). Upon entering these areas, players will encounter a Delirium mirror that, when passed, triggers Delirium fog across the entire map, spawning Delirium monsters. Similar to Breaches, the more Delirium monsters are defeated, the longer the Delirium state lasts. At the end, Distilled Emotions will drop at your location, with the quantity depending on the number of defeated Delirium monsters and your Item Rarity.
- Utilizing Currency Exchange: Visit Alva in the end-game hub and select “Currency Exchange.” In the ‘I Have’ box, choose Exalt Orbs—this currency serves as the backbone of trades. Next, in the ‘I Want’ box, select the specific Distilled Emotion desired. The current market rate for the chosen Distilled Emotion will become instantly visible. Provide the required amount of Exalted Orbs to receive it immediately.
While players can acquire Distilled Emotions through the Path of Exile 2 trading platform, utilizing the currency exchange method is far more efficient and less cumbersome.
