The Raging Spirits ability is a lasting buff that can be unlocked within the Elemental section through an Uncut Spirit Gem. It’s important to note that Uncut Spirit Gems are relatively rare, typically only dropping from powerful bosses, various chests, or through select quest rewards. While several classes can access Raging Spirits, it is particularly effective when used by a Sorceress or Witch, depending on your character build. The requirements for activation are as follows:

  • Level 10
  • 30 Spirit Cost
  • 25 Intelligence

Once you’ve met these criteria and unlocked Raging Spirits, you’ll find it listed among your spells. Notably, this skill does not need to be placed on your Hotbar to be activated.

Using Raging Spirits

To effectively use Raging Spirits, the primary requirement is having sufficient Spirit available — specifically, 30 Spirit is necessary to summon your minions. With the skill activated and your Spirit reserves ready, you can cast any fire spell to summon Raging Spirits, creating up to 10 of these fiery minions. While they have a brief lifespan, they will rush towards and attack all nearby enemies, adding to the damage caused by the initial spell used to summon them.

The optimal strategy involves utilizing the Flame Wall spell, which can generate five Raging Spirits that assail nearby foes. Alternatively, single-target fire spells, such as Firebolt, can also summon these spirits individually, yet area-of-effect spells like Flame Wall yield faster results for summoning. Keep in mind that Raging Spirits do not draw enemy attention; rather, they inflict damage on any target in close proximity.

Since Raging Spirits deal fire damage, focusing on enhancing your fire damage through passive skill respecs is highly advisable. The combined fire damage from multiple Raging Spirits can obliterate even formidable bosses. Given that using any fire spell activates this passive skill, acquiring it is a strategic choice to amplify your total damage output without incurring additional Mana costs.
