Running from December 10 to December 31, this celebration is packed with festive-themed experiences, including a new soundtrack, exclusive rewards, exciting challenges, and an array of unique items available within the in-game shop. Fans of the title can look forward to a holiday season filled with special content.
Since its release in 2015, Rocket League has captivated gamers with its unique blend of soccer and rocket-powered cars. The game has gained immense popularity due to its engaging gameplay mechanics, strategic depth, and robust cross-platform functionality. Every year, Rocket League celebrates the holiday season with its Frosty Fest event, which brings a bounty of seasonal content for players eager to engage with the community.
During the Frosty Fest event, players can participate in various challenges aimed at unlocking exclusive rewards. Available from December 10 through December 31, these rewards include special wheels, decals, player titles, and themed anthems. Completing specific tasks can also yield Golden Gifts, which feature items from previous Rocket League seasons such as Turbo, Secret Santa, and Velocity.

This year’s Frosty Fest also introduces new musical elements, with the lead track titled “Games”by zensei “ゼンセー,” featured alongside a collection of lo-fi remixes. The holiday soundtrack comprises remixed tracks from the Rocket League x Monstercat collaboration. Furthermore, the event showcases engaging limited-time modes, namely Split Shot and Split Shot Heatseeker, which add a fresh twist to the traditional 3v3 matches, prioritizing long-range goals and strategic play. In the opening week of the event, players can cast their votes based on their participation, with the most popular LTM continuing into the second week, where it will compete against the returning Winter Breakaway mode. The final week will culminate in a showdown featuring the week’s LTM winner against Rocket Labs, promising an epic conclusion to the seasonal celebration.
As Frosty Fest 2024 unfolds, players will also notice updates from Rocket League’s Season 17, which commenced on December 4. The new season adds a variant arena called “Neo Tokyo (Arcade)”to Online Playlists, along with the introduction of the Shokunin vehicle in the Rocket Pass. Additionally, Free Play sessions have been expanded to accommodate up to 8 participants, along with various free rewards and events.
