ROSÉ Opens Up About Relationships and Upcoming Music

During an interview with Zane Lowe to promote her anticipated solo album, Rosie, the BLACKPINK singer reflected humorously on navigating break-ups while on tour.
Heartbreak Amidst the Spotlight
Despite the emotional turmoil following a breakup, ROSÉ is grateful for her polished appearance during performances. She chuckled as she recalled, “I would actually look and be like, ‘Oh my god, that’s when I was going through the worst time of my life.’ I remember that tour. But also it’s just not normal for me too. I had never really spoken about it too, because I feel like there’s no need for me to ever confirm anything or talk about it.”This insight highlights the tension between personal desires and public expectations.
ROSÉ emphasized the significance of her upcoming album, stating, “That’s why this album means a lot to me, because these things are just inspirations for my art. I do want to make sure that that’s very well addressed: The fact that it’s not about the story of who Rosie has been with or whatever. It’s really more about the art.”
