Just days after an article shedding light on Donald Trump’s contentious relationship with the military emerged, a new revelation has surfaced.
In this latest report, a former model and former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender, has come forward with allegations of Trump groping her during what she describes as a “twisted game.” Less than 48 hours prior, The Atlantic published an extensive analysis of Trump’s fraught connections with military officials. With the election looming in under two weeks, a flurry of allegations appears to be emerging, likely aimed at preventing Trump and his team from effectively responding before voters cast their ballots. A recent article in The Guardian has reignited discussions around Trump’s history of sexual assault, featuring new accusations from a different individual.
The former model Stacey Williams accused Trump of sexual assault occurring at Trump Tower in 1993. At that time, Williams was actively modeling and was casually dating Epstein, who had introduced them at a party in 1992. She asserted that the two men shared a close friendship, saying, “It quickly became evident that he and Donald were quite good friends and spent a significant amount of time together.”
Following Epstein’s 2019 arrest, Trump remarked to the media that he “knew him, like everybody in Palm Beach knew him,” but added they had experienced a “falling out.” He claimed, “I haven’t spoken to him in 15 years,” and declared, “I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you.” This contrasts sharply with his previous praise for Epstein in a 2002 New York Magazine article, where he referred to Epstein as “a terrific guy” who was “a lot of fun to be with,” adding that it was said Epstein enjoyed beautiful women as much as Trump did, many of whom were younger.
“It was somehow orchestrated”
Williams’s recent claims bring Trump’s relationship with Epstein back into focus, particularly what she describes about the alleged incident. Williams recounts that while walking through New York with Epstein in early 1993, Epstein suggested they visit Trump Tower. Upon their arrival, she alleges that Trump embraced Epstein before pulling her toward him and began groping her.
Williams describes Trump touching her “all over my breasts,” her waist, and her backside. The experience left her “deeply confused,” leading her to freeze—a typical reaction in situations of sexual assault. She believes that during the encounter, Trump and Epstein exchanged smiles. At 56 years old now, Williams has previously hinted at the alleged assault on social media but provided more details during a Zoom call organized by a group called Survivors for Kamala, which included notable figures like Ashley Judd and Anita Hill. During the call, Williams recounted the aftermath of the alleged assault, stating:
“After Jeffrey and I left, he didn’t look at me or speak to me. I felt an overwhelming anger around me. When we got to the sidewalk, he suddenly berated me, asking, ‘Why did you let him do that?’ He made me feel utterly repulsive, and I was left completely bewildered.”
In an interview with The Guardian, she elaborated, “I experienced feelings of shame and disgust, as memories flooded back. I felt physically violated and sensed this horrible pit in my stomach, convinced it was somehow orchestrated. I felt like an object.” Subsequently, Trump sent her a postcard featuring Mar-a-Lago, with a handwritten message that read, “Stacey – Your home away from home. Love, Donald.” Soon after the alleged incident, Williams claims she ended her relationship with Epstein, unaware of the heinous actions leading to his later arrest and subsequent suicide while incarcerated.
Trump’s team denies the allegation
Naturally, Trump’s campaign team has denied the allegations. Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary for Trump, issued a statement asserting, “These claims, made by a former Obama activist and announced on a Harris campaign call just two weeks before the election, are unequivocally false.” They further suggested, without evidence, “It’s clear this fabricated story was orchestrated by the Harris campaign.”
There is a documented history of Trump’s sexual misconduct, with more than a dozen women accusing him of various forms of sexual assault. Recently, a jury deemed Trump liable for sexually assaulting columnist E. Jean Carroll in 1996, resulting in a $5 million verdict against him. Williams stated that witnessing how similar allegations were handled by the media had silenced her until now. The idea of coming forward, particularly as a mother with a child at home, felt impossible.
As previously noted, Trump has faced legal consequences for sexual abuse, yet his devoted supporters remain largely unfazed. Whether this latest revelation will influence their opinions is uncertain; however, it may motivate those unsure about their stance to take a side, with the hope that it is opposed to Trump.
