Snoop Dogg Delivers Brutal Two-Word Beatdown on Donald Trump, Proving He’s Rap Royalty

As the election date approaches, the media buzz intensifies, with rapper Snoop Dogg weighing in on Donald Trump’s political stance.

During a recent segment on Sirius XM, Snoop Dogg expressed his candid views about the former President when the radio host brought up Trump’s name. The DJ mentioned that some listeners reacted negatively whenever he criticized Trump, to which Snoop replied, “You need to realize that many of your fans are racists.” He then launched into a passionate tirade about the Republican candidate:

If you support that n—a, then you’re a motherf*ckin’ racist. F*ck you, f*ck him, and f*ck Kanye too, so what’s next? They’ve drawn the lines. There weren’t any lines before him.

Snoop Dogg also didn’t spare controversial figure Kanye West from his critique. West had publicly supported Trump during the 2016 election and again during his 2020 run.

The Complicated Relationship Between Snoop Dogg and Donald Trump Dates Back to 2007

Snoop Dogg first crossed paths with Donald Trump on the 2007 season of the reality series, The Apprentice. A decade later, he released a diss track aimed at Trump named “M.A.C.A (Make America Crip Again)” and parodied him in the music video for “Lavender (Nightfall Remix).” In that same year, Snoop outlined his grievances with Trump, criticizing his racist policies and inappropriate political behaviour.

Trump responded to Snoop’s parody in his characteristic manner, mocking the rapper for his “failing career”with a post on X (formerly Twitter) during the early morning hours. Other than this rebuttal, Trump has kept mostly silent regarding Snoop.

In a surprising twist, Snoop Dogg made a complete pivot in 2021, expressing gratitude to Trump for the clemency granted to Michael “Harry-O”Harris, co-founder of Death Row Records, just before Trump’s presidency concluded. “I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump,” he stated at the time. Since Snoop has a long-standing friendship with Harris, who helped kickstart his career at Death Row in 1993, his praise for Trump seems indicative of his relationship with the label, which he reacquired in 2022. It appears that Snoop has reverted to a more favorable view, a change that would surely be welcomed by Kamala Harris and the Democrats given today’s political landscape.
