The Sukhothai region in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is rich with exceptional ruins and concealed temples, each hiding fascinating secrets. Among these, a temple located near Voss’ Camp presents a unique challenge known as the “Elephant in the Room”mystery. This intricate puzzle requires players to locate and correctly position three Elephant Statuettes beneath a Buddhist shrine, making it a formidable task that may necessitate several attempts by players.
How to Solve the Elephant in the Room Mystery in Sukhothai
To initiate the Elephant in the Room mystery, players must first travel from Voss’ Camp and head left towards a hidden Buddhist temple. Upon entering the temple, they will encounter a shrine to Buddha. Using the in-game camera to photograph this shrine is the first step to unlocking the mystery, which revolves around placing the three Elephant Statuettes into concealed compartments beneath it.
Finding the First Two Elephant Statuettes
Your first task is to locate the initial two Elephant Statuettes:
- The first statuette is hidden within the right wall compartment.
- The second statuette can be found on the left wall; it requires burning through a boarded compartment to access.
Once both statuettes have been collected, place one in the first compartment beneath the shrine. This action opens a hidden compartment on the right wall, where the second statuette should be placed.
Locating the Third Elephant Statuette
After placing a statuette in the right compartment, the left compartment beneath the shrine will become accessible. Transfer the statuette from the right compartment to this newly opened left compartment.
This maneuver reveals a hidden room adjacent to the shrine, where players can retrieve the Sukhothai Relics book from the table. To acquire the third Elephant Statuette, use the bullwhip to climb the wall at the entrance of this hidden room, gaining access to the higher level.
Placing All Three Elephant Statuettes in Hidden Compartments
At this stage, it’s critical to place all three Elephant Statuettes into their respective compartments beneath the shrine. Follow these precise steps:
- Place the third Elephant Statuette in the first compartment under the shrine to reopen the right wall compartment.
- Retrieve the statuette from the right wall compartment, move into the hidden room, and set it on the wall pressure plate to access the middle compartment under the shrine.
- Transfer the statuette from the first compartment under the shrine into the newly opened middle compartment.
- Finally, move the statuette from the hidden room’s pressure plate to the pressure plate in the first compartment under the shrine.
Completing these steps will unlock the final hidden room to the right, showcasing an elephant’s skeleton. Photographing this skeleton will conclude the Elephant in the Room mystery in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, rewarding players with 250 adventure points.
