Soul Reaver 2: Complete Achievement and Trophy Unlocking Guide

Soul Reaver 2 is the sequel to the original Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, both of which are included in the remastered bundle Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered. This compilation presents players with opportunities to earn achievements and trophies in both titles. PlayStation 5 owners will receive one shared platinum trophy for both games, whereas PlayStation 4 players will have the chance to earn separate Platinum Trophies for each game.

Achievements and trophies may be unlocked through story progression, typical of many games that support completionist endeavors. However, players must be cautious of certain trophies that are missable, totaling ten in the game, which necessitate foresight and planning to achieve.

To facilitate achievement and trophy hunting, it is recommended that players create save files at various points throughout their journey. By making a fresh save upon entering new areas, players will retain the ability to revisit missed opportunities. A notable feature in Soul Reaver 2 is the inclusion of speedrun-related achievements, allowing for some trophies to be collected within a single gameplay session. Compared to its predecessor, Soul Reaver 2 has distinctively different achievement mechanics — notably, players won’t earn trophies for defeating boss characters.
