Stalker 2 Guide: Acquiring an Extended Magazine for Integral-A Vector SMG

The Integral-A Vector SMGs stand out as some of the most exhilarating firearms in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, primarily due to their impressive rate of fire. These weapons offer remarkable handling and can effectively dismantle most adversaries encountered in the Zone. However, the trade-off for this rapid fire is a quick depletion of ammunition, particularly with the standard 21-round magazine. To enhance your firefighting capability, obtaining an extended magazine for the Integral-A Vector SMG is an invaluable strategy, allowing for prolonged engagements and improved damage per second (DPS).

How to Acquire an Extended Magazine for the Integral-A Vector SMG in Stalker 2

To secure the extended magazine for your Integral-A Vector SMG, you must embark on a random NPC encounter mission with Vitya Shepherd. Start your quest by heading to the Lisovyi area, situated to the east of the Yaniv Station base. Upon your arrival, listen for Vitya’s calls for assistance, originating from within his residence in Lisovyi.

Interestingly, Lisovyi boasts a concealed underground shelter, which has a locked door leading to valuable loot. Make sure to explore this area as well.

Once you enter Vitya’s house, you will discover him injured, recapping his betrayal by a so-called friend. With limited time left, he reveals the coordinates to his stash to prevent his betrayer from claiming it. After obtaining the stash’s coordinates, your next mission is to hunt down Vetal and claim the contents for yourself.

Locating Vitya Shepherd’s Stash

Proceed towards the stash’s marked location on your map. As you approach the compound, be aware that the main entrance on the left is locked; therefore, you should enter from the right side.

Once inside, you’ll find Vetal rummaging through Vitya’s belongings. You can swiftly eliminate him without triggering the explosive wires positioned behind him. After dealing with Vetal, proceed with caution towards Vitya Shepherd’s stash.

Crouch and walk under the tripwire to avoid the explosive barrel located to your right.
Disarm the tripwire situated on the left before entering the doorway.
Just before reaching the stash, you will encounter another tripwire between the wall and a bed. Carefully disarm it to access Vitya Shepherd’s stash.

Opening the stash grants you access to the High Capacity Integral-A Magazine, which upgrades the weapon’s capacity from 21 to 31 rounds. Notably, this magazine is also compatible with the special variant of the Integral-A Reimann.
