Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl presents players with an impressive variety of artifacts, each offering a unique combination of benefits and drawbacks. Among these intriguing items, the Eye artifact stands out not only for its special abilities but also for its distinctive design. Its glowing shape and pulsating pupil give it an almost organic appearance, setting it apart from the rest. While you can farm for this artifact in thermal anomalies, there is an efficient method to acquire it quickly.
How to Acquire the Eye Artifact in Stalker 2
Upon returning from the Clear Sky Base following the Ad Astra Per Aspera main mission, players will receive a radio call from an NPC known as Kemarik. Positioned near the Circus—on your route back—this stalker is eager to talk. Engaging him and his group could lead you to obtain the coveted Eye artifact. Here’s how to secure it.
Provide Directions to the Clear Sky Base
Once you reach Kemarik, he will engage Skif in conversation regarding his safe journey from the Swamps. Shortly after, Kemarik inquires about how Skif made it to the Clear Sky Base. To progress the dialogue, simply respond with “Nimble Helped Me.”
Kemarik will then express curiosity about any valuable loot Skif discovered at the base. At this point, regardless of your choice, selecting “Yeah, there’s good loot there“will humor him and keep the conversation flowing.
Claiming the Eye Artifact as Your Reward
After your dialogue concludes, Kemarik will propose that Skif share directions to the Clear Sky Base. Players now face a choice: they can confront Kemarik and instigate a conflict with him and his crew, or they can choose to cooperate. By agreeing to share the directions, Skif will earn a valuable reward—Kemarik will bestow the Eye artifact upon you, after which he will instruct his team to head for the Clear Sky Base.
While the Eye artifact provides minimal thermal protection against weak radiation, it undeniably makes for an eye-catching addition to any collection, thanks to its unique aesthetics.
