This abandoned building plays a role in the mission by facilitating the deactivation of the second PSI emitter. However, the locked door of interest is not located inside the Old Church; rather, it is situated in the adjacent cellar.

Approaching the Locked Door

Once you arrive at the main church structure, make your way left and cross the marsh to access the cellar. After heading down the stairs, look to your left to discover a wooden locked door positioned right in front of you. While it appears locked, entering is much simpler than initially thought; there’s no complicated key or combination needed.

Removing the Obstruction

To access the locked door, step right into the adjoining room and locate a large crack in the wall. Through this opening, you can see that wooden boards have secured the door. To proceed, simply toss a grenade through the crack; it will effectively break apart the wooden barriers and unlock your path.
