Star Wars Outlaws Reportedly Sells Only 1 Million Units to Date

Shortly after the launch of Star Wars Outlaws in late August, it became evident that its sales performance was below Ubisoft’s expectations. Recently, Ubisoft confirmed that the game’s initial sales were “softer than expected.”While specific figures were not disclosed, additional details have surfaced.

According to a report by Insider Gaming, Star Wars Outlaws has sold only 1 million units globally across all platforms thus far. Given the significance of this release and the high expectations Ubisoft set, these sales figures are disappointing. Earlier reports indicated that the game had sold approximately 800,000 copies by the end of August, suggesting it hasn’t gained much traction in the sales department since its launch.

Ubisoft is banking on a boost in sales for Star Wars Outlaws during the holiday season, with plans for several upcoming patches and the release of the game’s first expansion on November 21. The game will also become available on Steam on the same day.

Star Wars Outlaws is currently playable on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. You can read our review of the game here.
