Over time, this dependency on the Emperor turned Ben into one of many pawns under the true Master of the Dark Side’s control. Contrary to the perception that he was constantly guided by his Jedi Master, there were numerous instances where Anakin found himself alone with Chancellor Palpatine, deepening his sense of isolation since childhood. This emotional entrapment proved to be his undoing, a fate fortunately avoided by his children, Luke and Leia.

In contrast to Anakin and Ben’s struggles, Luke Skywalker, regardless of the canon, managed to evade the Dark Side’s allure due to his sister’s steadfast support.
