The eagerly anticipated Valorant Episode 9 Act 3 is on the horizon. Unlike the previous Act, which introduced a completely new Agent, this upcoming installment will focus more on refreshing the existing content rather than adding new characters. A significant highlight of the update will be the adjustments made to the map pool, bringing back some beloved maps that could revitalize the current meta and gameplay dynamics.
This update is scheduled for release between October 23 and 24, tailored to different regions, meaning that the rollout times may vary accordingly. This article will specifically address the launch details for the Mumbai (India) server.
Scheduled Release Time for Valorant Episode 9 Act 3 on Mumbai (India) Server
As usual, it’s vital for players to remember that competitive matchmaking will be unavailable in the final moments of Episode 9 Act 2. During the closing hours, players can still participate in alternate game modes such as Swiftplay and Spike Rush before these options are cut off as well.
Following this, we can expect the servers to enter maintenance mode, lasting several hours before the update is ready for download. For players on the Mumbai (India) servers, Valorant Episode 9 Act 3 is anticipated to launch on October 24 at 4:30 am IST, provided everything goes as planned. If there are delays, the update should still be accessible within a few hours after the indicated time.
What’s New in Valorant’s Episode 9 Act 3
This new Episode will not introduce a plethora of fresh content. However, similar to previous Acts, players can look forward to a new Battlepass that will include three unique skinlines along with a variety of cosmetic rewards such as Player Cards, Gunbuddies, Titles, Sprays, and more. Players can also earn some of these rewards for free by achieving specific tiers.
A striking new skin bundle named Doombringer will debut in Episode 9 Act 3. The developers teased players with a preview of the Phantom variant, showcasing its unique kill finisher and sound effects. This reveal has certainly stirred excitement within the community.
Additionally, players can expect to see a return of some classic maps in the new Episode. The upcoming map rotation will reintroduce Pearl and Split while removing Lotus and Icebox from the pool. Although these maps won’t be accessible in competitive mode, they will still be playable in casual formats like Swiftplay, Unrated, Spike Rush, and Escalation. Along with this update, players may catch a glimpse of the next Agent currently in development.
