The PlayStation 5 game Astro Bot has captured the attention of gamers since its launch on September 6, 2024. This title has quickly become a top seller on Amazon and is completely sold out on Amazon Japan. Today, the game has received a significant update weighing 382.5 MB, which is now available for download. However, the developers have not released any patch notes, so it’s unclear what specific changes the update introduces.
As reported by playstationlifestyle.net, the update addresses some previously reported issues related to game data saving, although this was not a widespread problem.
Most PlayStation users will find that the game updates automatically when they restart their console. If you have disabled automatic updates, you can update manually by navigating to Astro Bot‘s tile in your game library, selecting ‘Options‘, and then clicking on ‘Check for Updates‘. The game will begin to update if you are still using an earlier version.
Previous Update for Astro Bot
Currently, Astro Bot is on version 1.004, having received its last update just a few days ago. Unfortunately, similar to the current update, the previous one also didn’t come with any patch notes, leaving players uncertain about the changes made.
Astro Bot Game Size on PS5
The game requires 66 GB of storage space. With over 50 planets, 80 levels, and 150 cameos from PlayStation characters, it is six times larger than its predecessor, Astro’s Playroom.
