On Wednesday, September 18, Stray Kids’ interview with Rolling Stone UK was released, in which Bang Chan revealed an interesting tidbit about his fellow member, I.N. He mentioned that the group’s maknae (youngest member) is often seen lurking online, keeping tabs on STAYs’ activities and reporting back to the rest of the members about what their fans are discussing.
As a result, all the latest happenings in the fandom—from memes to discussions—reaches the Stray Kids members through I.N. Here’s what the idol had to say:
“I.N, he’s always monitoring everything that’s going on. He’ll send us the link on the group chat. All these memes and stuff.”
This revelation caused a wave of hilarious reactions from fans on social media. While many found it endearing that the idol was actively engaging with and watching over STAYs’ online activities, it also made them feel a bit self-conscious. Here are some reactions from fans on X:
“AYEN IS THE IMPOSTER.”
“WE ALL THOUGHT IT WAS CHAN, BUT NO, IT WAS AYEN ALL ALONG!?”stated a fan.
“We’re sooo COOKED that we’ve been served to the Stray Kids group chat. IN GO AWAY,”added another fan.
“So in the end we were scared of the wrong guy,”said a netizen on X.
More fans expressed their surprise that Stray Kids’ I.N. was the one stalking and informing the other members about STAYs’ activities.
“So we were right to be worried, but it wasn’t lix and chan?? NO IN NO,”commented a fan on X.
“GET OUT JEONGIN YOU DONT WANT TO SEE WHAT I COMMENT ON TIK TOK,”added another fan on X.
“This is why chan tells us to touch grass, ayen be spying on us,”stated a netizen.
“IN really be airing out our dirty laundry. Have some respect for our house,”added an X user.
Stray Kids Members Participate in a Group Interview with Rolling Stone UK
Stray Kids, the popular eight-member K-pop boy band, is set to grace the cover of Rolling Stone UK. As the release of their issue approaches, individual and group interviews featuring the members have surfaced online. The group interview, conducted by Joseph Kocharian, showcased all members together.
During the interview, the Stray Kids members discussed various topics including their relationships with one another, the group’s achievements in the music industry, their future plans, and their affection for STAYs (their dedicated fanbase).
Han shared insights about how the members have known each other for almost ten years, emphasizing how their relationship has matured over time.
“Sometimes we have differences of opinions and sometimes we have conflicts, which is totally normal, but at first, I felt like they were my companions as they shared a dream and a goal to work together. Then that relationship turned more into friends that you keep for the rest of your life, and now it’s changing again. It’s almost brotherly. They feel like blood,”he commented.
Stray Kids also reflected on their upcoming performance at BST Hyde Park. The interview with Rolling Stone UK took place just before they were set to take the stage, and the members expressed their excitement about performing for the 60,000 STAYs in attendance.
