The Circle Season 7 Episode 8: A Breakdown of the Twists and Turns

Episode 8 of The Circle Season 7 marked the conclusion of the second batch of episodes released by Netflix on September 18. Packed with unexpected twists, the episode put contestants in challenging positions as they navigated their strategies. The episode opened with the narrator announcing the ratings amongst the eight players, with the highest-rated player set to become the Influencer.

This time, the rating list structure changed from previous iterations of The Circle, where the top two players would typically become the influencers. Instead, the game elevated the stakes by allowing the disruptor to select the second influencer.

As the episode commenced, Darian, chosen as the disruptor at the close of episode 7, was vested with the authority to designate the second influencer. The players were soon shown the rating list.

Gianna (Nicky and Jojo) topped the list, earning her position as the first influencer automatically, while Darian, despite being the disruptor, found himself at the bottom in eighth place.

After the ratings were revealed, the players began devising their strategies. The Circle opened up, leading to a lively group chat that took a tense turn when Madelyn and Darian clashed.
