The Office Australia set for global release on October 18, 2024

Airing in an eight-episode season, The Office Australia will star Felicity Ward as the lead character, Hannah Howard. Ward portrays the managing director of a packaging firm named Finley Craddick. According to the logline, the plot begins with troubling news for Ward and her team.

Ward will learn from the Head Office that their branch is to be closed, mandating that employees transition to remote work. This predicament puts Ward in a challenging situation where she must enter survival mode to keep her “work family”intact.

Emulating the quirky and humorous styles of David Brent and Michael Scott, Ward faces chaos with her distinctive touch, eager to confront challenges and meet lofty expectations.

Initially introduced 20 years ago by Gervais and Merchant, this iconic mockumentary achieved global fame, spawning twelve international versions including adaptations in Canada, Israel, France, and India. Given the franchise’s widespread acclaim, expectations for the new Australian installment are exceptionally high.
