The Old Man season 2 episode 3 began with Harold rescuing Dan by shooting Hamzad, prompting Emily to rush into the cave to find them all. Despite Hamzad’s desire to be left behind, Emily insisted on safely escorting him back home before departing the country with Dan and Harold.

In Hamzad’s village, Omar arrived with his men, demanding Hamzad’s presence but was soon surrounded by Khadija’s followers. A helicopter then appeared, delivering a bag of cash destined for Omar, yet the man claimed to be sent from the Ministry to resolve the escalating conflict, with revelations shortly coming that he was Khadija’s son, Tarik. He disclosed that Morgan Botes had frozen their assets linked to the kidnapping of Emily/Parwana.

Outside, Omar had a tumultuous encounter with Farouk, Faruza’s son, attempting to dig for the truth regarding rumors of Hamzad capturing an FBI agent. Farouk remained secretive, causing a confrontation that led to a violent shootout following Faruza’s unfortunate demise.

Meanwhile, Emily, after parting ways, pursued Hamzad into the village, where she encountered Omar and struck him after revealing her identity as Parwana Hamzad. Despite being outnumbered, Harold’s timely intervention with an attack helicopter led to Emily shooting Omar in self-defense.
