Although Madelyn was hesitant, she understood she had no choice since Rachel would be taking on her persona for the time being.

Rachel and Madelyn’s Private Chat in The Circle Season 7 Episode 5 Explored

In The Circle season 7 episode 5, titled “Circle Wedding Crashers,”Debbie, who is catfishing as Rachel, learned that she and Madelyn were required to exchange profiles and impersonate each other until the next blocking. Madelyn expressed her concerns about Rachel interacting with Andy, fearing he might sense that “something”was amiss.

Rachel, fully aware she was portraying a catfish, lamented the challenge of having to further disguise herself, stating, “I am catfished squared.”

“I am double catfish,”Rachel joked.

Rachel invited Madelyn to a private chat. She was aware that if either of them made a mistake, both could be potentially blocked from the Netflix show. Rachel called the situation “insane”and proposed they collaborate to enhance their chances of staying in the game. Madelyn concurred, emphasizing the need for honesty about their alliances.

In their discussion, Rachel inquired about Madelyn’s alliances and her conflicts, sharing insights about her dynamics with the rest of The Circle season 7 cast. She identified Gianna as her “number one”ally and mentioned Jadejha was part of the “#TripleThreat”alongside them. Madelyn appeared puzzled about the #TripleThreat and questioned her position within the alliance.

“My beef is with #TheBros. Andy did not appreciate me being #ThatB*tch. And Kevin is sus. I don’t trust him,”Rachel expressed.

Madelyn pointed out that Rachel had “beef”with many of her preferred allies. She noted that Gianna positioned herself as a priority since she defended Madelyn in episode 4’s group chat. Madelyn also divulged that Andy was her “#CircleHusband”and their couple name was “#Andelyn,”apologizing in advance for any possible “spicy”conversations that might arise.

Debbie, portraying Rachel, was apprehensive about messaging Andy as Madelyn. She revealed that her last “sexy photo”to him featured their dogs and asked when he would come to bed. Madelyn advised that they should maintain a positive tone and reassure their alliances of their mutual trust.

Madelyn added comments about Kevin, sharing that they had a “good conversation”lately and asserting that she hadn’t sensed any “sus vibes”from him so far. She suggested they work on aligning their alliances “gently and naturally.”

Rachel felt she might be the only one sensing something off about Kevin. Reflecting on her chat with Madelyn, she believed their collaborative approach could give them “a fighting chance.”

“I’m so glad I’ve got this chance to get to know you. Good luck tomorrow ‘Rachel’, I promise to do my best. #IllGetDownAndDirty,”Rachel wrote.

As they concluded their chat, the two felt optimistic about their prospects. Madelyn advised Rachel to shed her “halo”and don some “devil horns,”to which Rachel replied that it was “a lot”and she needed a “good night’s sleep.”
