During a recent interview on the Rich Roll Podcast, Holland discussed his enthusiasm for Spider-Man 4, amidst a broader conversation about his new venture into the non-alcoholic beer market. Not surprisingly, the topic shifted to his role as Peter Parker, where he was eager to share his excitement about the current draft in progress. One of the aspects that thrilled him the most was the script’s dedication to honoring the fans and delivering a cinematic experience they can embrace and appreciate, reminiscent of the earlier films in the franchise.

“It needs work but the writers are doing a great job. I read it 3 weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I sat down, read it together and we at times were bouncing around the living room.”

While expressing his genuine excitement about the draft of Spider-Man 4, Holland acknowledged that some adjustments are still needed before everything is finalized. “There’s a few things we still need to sort out before it can fully come together,”Holland elaborated. “But it’s thrilling, and I’m truly very excited about it.”

Aside from Holland’s enthusiasm, little is known about what Spider-Man 4 will encompass. However, it’s confirmed that Destin Daniel Cretton, the director of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, will be taking the reins on this film. Zendaya is expected to reprise her role as MJ, and Jacob Batalon is likely to return as Peter Parker’s loyal friend. Unfortunately, Marisa Tomei, who portrayed Aunt May, will not be returning following her character’s demise at the hands of the Green Goblin. Currently, the film does not have an official release date.
