1) The Rift Between Caroline Brooks and Caroline Stanbury
During Season 2 of Real Housewives of Dubai, a conflict emerged between the two Carolines who previously had a friendly relationship in Season 1. The animosity was sparked by a joke Stanbury made about Taleen Marie’s behavior at a Beyoncé concert in Dubai. Taleen Marie, a new cast member introduced in Season 2, shared a long-standing friendship with Brooks. In the first episode, Brooks informed Taleen that Stanbury was closely observing her at the concert and commented on her demeanor.
Stanbury’s remarks upset Brooks. In the second episode of Real Housewives of Dubai, Brooks confronted Stanbury at Taleen’s party, accusing her of disrespecting her, which escalated into a heated verbal clash.
2) The Clash Between Chanel Ayan and Caroline Stanbury in Season 1
Chanel Ayan and Caroline Stanbury’s conflict began right from the show’s launch. During the Season 1 premiere, which aired on June 1, 2022, all cast members gathered for a rooftop party to get acquainted. An argument erupted between Stanbury and Ayan when Ayan allegedly attempted to steer the conversation away from their topic of discussion.
In episode 11, while the housewives were dining on Nuri Island, Stanbury walked out in frustration after Ayan continuously compared their successes. During this altercation, Stanbury also criticized Nina Ali for not taking her side during a moment of need.
3) The Breakdown of Friendship between Lesa and Chanel Ayan in Season 2
Ayan and Caroline Stanbury organized a farewell party in episode 13 of Season 2 of Real Housewives of Dubai, as the cast was preparing for summer vacations. This event witnessed the transformation of longtime friends Lesa and Ayan into adversaries. The tension escalated when Lesa accused Ayan of misrepresenting Stanbury’s opinions about her. Lesa alleged that Ayan suggested Stanbury perceived her as bragging during discussions about purchasing a farm.
Ayan vehemently denied making any such comments. The conflict reached a boiling point at the party, culminating in a loud argument between Lesa and Ayan. Feeling profoundly hurt, Lesa expressed to the cameras:
“I don’t know where we go from here. I feel betrayed. I feel hurt. This is not my friend. This is not my sister. This is not the person that I’ve known for so many years. I don’t recognize her anymore.”
