Top 5 Honkai Star Rail Characters to Pair with Moze for Ultimate Team Synergy

Top 5 Honkai Star Rail Characters to Pair with Moze for Ultimate Team Synergy

When you are pulling for Feixiao in Honkai Star Rail, there’s a good chance you will obtain one or more copies of the new 4-star character, Moze. Since Moze functions as a DPS character, his effectiveness heavily relies on the synergy with the units paired alongside him. Therefore, Trailblazers are encouraged to team him up with characters that complement this Shadow Guard effectively.

With this in mind, let’s explore the top characters you should consider pairing with Moze in Honkai Star Rail.

5 Best Characters to Pair with Moze in Honkai Star Rail

1) Feixiao

As Moze is primarily a sub-DPS unit, it’s essential to pair him with another DPS character. The abilities of both Feixiao and Moze complement each other effectively; Feixiao requires her allies to perform attacks to accumulate Flying Aureus stacks, while Moze also requires allies to hit enemies to initiate his follow-up attacks. This combination allows both characters to unleash continuous assaults on their foes.

Additionally, Moze is featured in Feixiao’s event banner, meaning Trailblazers aiming to build a team incorporating both characters can pull from the same banner. This strategy allows players to conserve a significant amount of Star Rail Passes since chasing after a single 4-star character can be quite costly.

2) March 7th

Another character to consider pairing with Moze is March 7th. For free-to-play players who lack the resources, or prefer not to pull for Feixiao, March 7th serves as an excellent alternative. Players can obtain all of March 7th’s Eidolons free of charge through the main event of version 2.4 and the Luminary Wardance event.

Since March 7th (Hunt) and her Eidolons are accessible to all players, building a team around this Shadow Guard will not require heavy resource investment. In terms of gameplay mechanics, the synergy that Moze shares with Feixiao is similarly applicable to March 7th.

3) Dr. Ratio

If you haven’t built March 7th or do not have the resources to do so immediately, Dr. Ratio is an ideal unit to pair with Moze. Since he was given to all players upon his release, most players likely have him in their roster. Furthermore, he can serve as an effective primary DPS unit in the team while Moze stealthily dispatches enemies one by one.

As Dr. Ratio is an FUA unit, he naturally synergizes well with Moze. His ability to execute follow-up attacks simultaneously enables them to deliver tremendous damage while aiding Moze in executing his own follow-up attacks.

4) Yunli

Interestingly, Yunli makes a fantastic companion for this Shadow Guard of the Xianzhou Yaoqing. When Moze goes into the Departed state, it allows Yunli to draw more enemy attention, given that only three characters are present on the battlefield. This setup enables the sword hunter to execute counterattacks frequently, thus providing openings for Moze to perform follow-up attacks.

If Yunli is not in your roster, you can consider using Clara as an alternative, as both characters have similar mechanics.

5) Robin

Due to the way Moze’s abilities function, there are several buffers in Honkai Star Rail that synergize well with him, and Robin is among them. Unlike other harmony units, Robin doesn’t target a specific character to apply buffs, making her synergy with the Shadow Guard significantly higher.

Robin’s attack and damage boosts are incredibly beneficial for Moze and the primary DPS character in the party, facilitating more efficient wave-clearing.
