5) Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff
- Stats: 60 Attack, 30 Defense
- Unique Effect: Increases the damage of Charged Heavy Smash Attacks.
- Availability: Chapter 2 (Defeat Shigandang after collecting all Buddha Eyeballs).
The Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff is a solid choice for players utilizing Smash Stance builds. With its 60 Attack and extra 30 Defense, this staff strikes a balance between offensive capabilities and survivability. Its notable Unique Effect enhances the damage of Charged Heavy Smash Attacks.
While its stats may not suffice in late-game scenarios, the Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff excels during the early chapters of NG+, where defensive strategies are crucial. When compared to other early-game staves, such as the Twin Serpents Staff or Wind Bear Staff, it emerges as the best option for players focusing on Smash Stance gameplay.

2) Jingubang

- Unique Effect: The 4th Focus Point gauge does not deplete.
- Availability: Chapter 6 (Defeat Gold Armored Rhino, Cloudtreading Deer, Feng-Tail General, and Emerald-Armed Mantis. Then, proceed to Water Curtain Cave).
The Jingubang is an iconic weapon in both lore and gameplay, revered as one of the most effective choices for NG+ builds. With a remarkable base attack of 135, it offers tremendous raw power. Its standout feature is the Focus gauge mechanic, allowing players to maintain their Focus instead of it depleting after reaching the 4th point.
This enables players to charge their Heavy Attack without feeling rushed, enhancing the staff’s utility. When combined with the Sun Wukong Stance (available by defeating the secret boss Erlang Shen three times), the Jingubang becomes nearly unstoppable.
1) Dark Iron Staff
- Stats: 5 Burn Resistance, 5 Chill Resistance, 110 Attack
- Unique Effect: Significantly increases Attack based on total Defense.
- Availability: Chapter 5 secret area (Defeat Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast, NG+).
The Dark Iron Staff packs a punch, ideal for players who adopt a tank-style build in Black Myth Wukong. Although its base attack is a solid 110, its true potential lies in its Unique Effect: increased attack power based on total defense.
