Suchwita is an engaging talk show hosted by BTS member Suga. Min Yoongi, also known as Suga, is celebrated for his exceptional rapping and dancing skills, despite his introverted and reserved nature. Suchwita, inspired by Suga’s hit song Daechwita, translates to ‘time to get drunk with Suga’ in Korean. The talk show premiered on December 5, 2022, and concluded its first season in February 2024 after 15 months, wrapping up with a total of 27 episodes.
Throughout the first season, Suga welcomed a variety of guests to share drinks and candid conversations, starting with RM, BTS’s leader, in the inaugural episode, filled with memorable moments for fans.

1) Episode 24 with IU
In December 2023, Lee Ji-eun, famously known as IU, graced Suchwita with her presence, sharing delightful moments with fans. Two signature drinks from the episode included misutgaru milk and peach syrup with spiked sparkling water.
IU, clad in an oversized pastel hoodie and denim jeans, humorously discussed how drinking misutgaru milk could lead to weight gain. Her story about the strict security at the HYBE building elicited laughter, to which Suga nodded in agreement.
As an introvert, IU expressed her desire to collaborate with BTS’s RM but felt like a stranger to him, despite RM being her first choice prior to Suga.
2) Episode 15 with Jungkook
On July 29, 2023, the show’s guest was Jungkook, the Maknae of BTS. Episode 15 is considered one of the funniest episodes, with Suga introducing Jungkook who humorously pointed out that it took Suga five months to invite him.
Jungkook introduced HighBall, a cocktail he enjoys, and added humor to the show with his lively movements during the conversation. When Suga inquired about these movements, Jungkook quipped they helped prevent muscle loss.
Both bandmates reminisced about their favorite concert experiences, turning a light-hearted talk into a more serious discussion before Jungkook lightened the mood again.
3) Episode 8 with Yeonjun and Taehyun
In April 2023, Yeonjun and Taehyun from Tomorrow x Together appeared to promote their album Temptation. Suga congratulated them for reaching the top of the Billboard Top 200 chart.
The guests enjoyed scotch while discussing the meaning of friendship, with Suga noting his long-standing relationship with RM. 5) Episode 12 with Jin
Episode 12 kicked off with a heartfelt note from Jin as he prepared to head to military training, asking fans not to forget them. This episode, which aired in June 2023, was filled with humor. Jin made a point to attend even with his busy schedule, bringing Sahaehyeongje, a traditional handmade drink for Suga.
Jin candidly discussed his struggles with memorizing lyrics, only to be surprised by J-Hope’s sudden appearance with a camera. The trio’s interaction added a fun dynamic to the episode.
The episode concluded with the question, “What was Kim Seok-jin’s goal?”Jin simply stated his aim was to be happy, a sentiment that resonated deeply with fans.
6) Episode 7 with Jimin
Episode 7, released on March 27, 2023, featured Jimin, who was promoting his debut solo album, Face. Jimin, a cat lover, surprised Suga with a white cat cake and sang him Happy Birthday.
While discussing his solo project, Jimin explained that Face is about confronting oneself, jokingly admitting he appeared shirtless in the music video despite lacking prominent muscles—this light-hearted banter resonated with audiences.
In this engaging conversation, Jimin and Suga reflected on the challenges posed by fans. When asked about these challenges, Suga humorously imitated one of the movements, adding laughter to the episode as they discussed plans for 2025.
