While hints of intelligence are woven into his character, Louie prefers to coast on the efforts of others, particularly evident in Pikmin 4, where he shows little interest in assisting Olimar.
His voraciousness leads him into conflict with other characters, as he continually attempts to conceal his misdeeds. Consequently, Louie’s procrastination and laziness hinder his potential, transforming him from a possible hero into an unreliable antagonist.
